The Central Highlands and Wimmera ICT study team has mapped the quality of ASDL broadband coverage and NextG coverage in the region.Other maps illustrate where NBN Co expect to deploy fibre and wireless services across Australia including first and second stage release sites. |

Central Highlands and Wimmera Southern Mallee ICT Survey
The Central Highlands and Wimmera Southern Mallee ICT Plans will map current ICT adoption levels and service satisfaction and identify areas of pent up demand for services. They will identify how broadband technologies act as an enabler for economic and social development in the Central Highlands and Wimmera regions. Ballarat ICT Cluster Receives Further Backing
A new information and communications technology (ICT) cluster will go ahead in Ballarat with the help of a $65,000 Bracks Government grant, the Member for Ballarat East, Geoff Howard, said today [Friday 9 June].Mr Howard said the Regional Innovation Clusters Program grant would support the growth and initial development of the Ballarat ICT Cluster, which will be made up of approximately 50 ICT businesses and agencies in the Ballarat region.
