 ACCAN National Conference 2011
Dr Helen Thompson was recently in Sydney to present at the national Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) conference. Held in Sydney the 2011 ACCAN National Conference featured a wide variety of speakers from Government, industry, regulatory authorities and consumer groups. The conference offered an in-depth exploration of the bigger picture challenges, opportunities and possibilities presented by our broadband future.
Senator Stephen Conroy, Minister for Communications, Broadband and the Digital Economy opened the conference. Dr Helen Thompson presented on day two covering Regional Telecommunications.
