 Google Developer Day 2008
In June Paul attended the Google Developer Day in Sydney. Paul investigated the use of new and existing Google technologies in CeCC developments such as:
- Google Web Toolkit - Making AJAX applications faster and more compatible.
- Gears for more advanced desktop integration , including the ability to continue working if a connection is lost.
- Google Maps - Extending CeCC's current maps usage to more advanced applications.
- OpenSocial for social networking developments
- Andoid -an open development environment for mobile devices.
